Aardman partnered with Vue Cinemas in 2020 to create a 60 minute pre-school adventure for their week day and weekend ‘mini morning’ slots featuring classic Timmy Time episodes, a summer seaside special, songs to sing along with and a bespoke live action interactive element to encourage the audience to get involved and dance with Timmy!
The show premiered across 89 Vue cinemas across the UK and Eire in summer 2020, with a second release following the pandemic in 2021. Vue commissioned a follow up, Christmas adventure for winter 2021 due to the success of the original programme across their cinemas and in 2022 the content was reversioned and released in partnership with Vue’s German partner chain, CinemaxX.
