Aardman are recruting for an enthusiastic Trainee Camera Prep Technician to prepare and supply camera equipment within Aardman's Production Technology department.

The Production Technology department is responsible for providing lighting and camera equipment‚ the operation of the studios (stages)‚ the provision of Edit and Machine Room facilities‚ and for the electrical safety of the domestic and production equipment at GFR.

Reporting to the Head of Production Technology‚ this role is responsible for providing advice and guidance for Producers and crew in their use of camera equipment for shoots.

We are looking for someone with professional knowledge and experience of photography (both digital and film)‚ as well as a good basic knowledge of video cameras and an interest in film making. A team player‚ with good organisational and people skills.

Applicants should have a current drivers licence‚ be computer literate and possess a keen willingness to learn and develop a good working knowledge of the Aardman camera equipment.
