Sprocket Rocket Game

Client Intellectual Property Office

WE WERE ASKED TO…

Build on the success of our first game for the IPO, Invention Suspension by developing a new game to promote the IPO’s Cracking Ideas competition featuring Wallace and Gromit.

SO WE MADE…

Sprocket Rocket, a Flash game featuring the famous pair planning their next outing to the moon. The game is set in a testing bay and the player must use nimble flying skills and inventive flair to create tools for their rocket all the time expanding  their understanding of the principles of brands, patents and IP. Using their own custom made tools, the aim is to collect cogs as they go through the testing bay to fix their ship and get to the moon.

AS A RESULT…

The game was distributed around the web reaching a much wider audience than the IPO could access through marketing schools alone. It also provided an engaging way of children learning about the principles of intellectual property and encouraging them to get involved offline by entering the competition.
