Location: Remote working, but based at Aardman’s studio in Bristol when required, abiding to current Covid protocols & procedures.
We are looking for a Revisionist Storyboard Artist to become part of Aardman’s first fully in-house CG/mixed medium series. The series will be 52eps x 11mins.
The purpose of this role will be to provide clean up on storyboards and fixes, with a clear understanding of staging, comedy and character, to comments.
Your role will be to create revisions on episodic storyboards to client comments under the guidance of the Head of Story, and to schedule. The successful candidate will need to maintain a consistent level of drawing, in line with the project’s design – staying on character. You will also openly exchange ideas, technique and procedures to enhance the creative process.
You will need to have strong drawing abilities with a good understanding of story structure, staging and use of camera. We are looking for someone with experience using Clintiq and a strong understanding of posing and character, with ability to communicate character emotions through boards.
