Shaun the Sheep Invades London for Shaun in the City!

Central London experienced some woolly bad traffic when a series of giant Shaun the Sheep sculptures arrived in the capital…on a tractor!  This baahmy event celebrated the launch of the Shaun in the City arts trail in London, where 50 giant Shauns will be dotted around the city to form a special arts trail until May 25th.

Locations include some of the most famous London landmarks including Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard and the Tower of London!

Visitors can download the new Sheep Spotter app for Android and Apple devices to help navigate London and Bristol, ticking off sheep and collecting achievements along the way! There is also a map available to download from the Shaun in the City website.

Can’t make it to London? A trail of 70 extra Shaun in the City sculptures will be coming to Bristol in June, followed by exhibitions of the whole collection later in the year. Look out for more details on the Shaun in the City website.

Both trails aim to raise money for children in hospitals around the UK. The sculptures, which have been designed by high profile artists, designers and celebrities including David Gandy, Zandra Rhodes and Cath Kidston, will be auctioned later this year for Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity.
