Warm wishes from Barbour and Aardman for 2026

Following last year’s hugely successful collaboration with the much-loved nostalgic duo, Wallace & Gromit, Barbour is once again partnering with Aardman for its eagerly anticipated 2026 Christmas film.

Directed by Steve Harding-Hill, and created in our signature stop-motion style, this year’s festive film transports viewers into the familiar world of Wallace & Gromit, where Christmas preparations, snowy adventures and one of Wallace’s latest inventions combine to create a quintessentially British festive tale.

With its combination of British heritage, craftsmanship, friendship and festive humour, the film celebrates the simple joy of giving and receiving a thoughtful gift at Christmas through the unmistakable worlds of Barbour and Aardman.

“We’re delighted to be continuing our creative partnership with Aardman. Barbour and Aardman share a distinctly British heritage, a passion for craftsmanship and an appreciation for the attention to detail that make something truly special. Wallace & Gromit resonate across generations, bringing such warmth, charm and humour, making them the perfect characters to celebrate Barbour’s iconic tartan this festive season. This year’s film beautifully captures the joy of giving, the magic of Christmas and those little moments that bring people together. Even when things don’t exactly go to plan, but everything works out wonderfully in the end!” – Jamie McCall, Global Marketing Director at Barbour

“Once again, it’s been an absolute joy to work with iconic British brand Barbour, and we hope you love this year's festive romp where Wallace & Gromit enjoy the fresh air of a Christmas Day stroll. Of course, their rollicking ramble goes wrong, and it’s left up to Gromit, with the help of Barbour, to come to the rescue!” – Steve Harding-Hill, Creative Director of Short Form & Commercials at Aardman

"Like Wallace and Gromit, we can't help getting totally wrapped up in Christmas, and we're so excited to present the duo again, this time wrapped up in Barbour for their winter walkies. We hope it warms the cockles and brings a giant Wallace smile. I'm sure Yule love it!” – Nick Park, Creator of Wallace & Gromit

Accompanying this year’s Christmas film, Barbour has produced a limited-edition capsule collection of accessories including knitted scarves, hats, caps, tote bags, key fobs and a dog coat, keeping humans and pets warm for the holidays, available from December 2026 on Barbour.com and selected retail stores.
