Aardman’s Attractions and Live Experiences team look forward to showcasing their portfolio of immersive experiences at IAAPA Expo in Orlando next week.
Working with partners around the world, the team use the studios’ multi-award-winning characters and wealth of creative talent to bring unique story lines and interactive experiences to life. Join them as part of the UK Department of Business & Trade Delegation at Booth #671.
Recent projects include ‘Shaun’s Wagons’ overnight experience at Skanes Djurpark, the first ever Wallace & Gromit escape room, visitor attraction concept ‘The World of Aardman’, indoor play concepts ‘Farm It!’ and ‘Invent It!’, Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock augmented reality trail app and Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time themed soft play experiences.
‘The World of Aardman’ isa hands-on, fun visitor attraction concept developed in partnership with international themed attraction company Katapult. Designed to suit pre-existing retail mall units and indoor destinations, the attraction can also showcase exclusive seasonal activities and product launches, as well as tying in with promotional activities as part of Aardman’s studio slate.
In collaboration with Dig It Entertainment, the team are creating two play concepts: Shaun the Sheep ‘Farm It!’ and Wallace & Gromit ‘Invent It!’, suitable for indoor play opportunities. ‘Farm It!’ ties in with One Farm, an exciting brand initiative utilising Shaun the Sheep’s storytelling links to the great outdoors, farming and family to encourage participation in activities that will enhance and sustain our own world and lives. Both ‘Farm It!’ and ‘Invent It!’ can standalone or complement ‘The World of Aardman’.
The studio is showcasing a new Shaun the Sheep themed AR experience, Fun with the Flock, building on the global success of the Shaun the Sheep: Hide & Sheep augmented reality trail app and the Lloyd of The Flies: A.R. Bug Hunt app, which launched at a number of prestigious outdoor family venues across the UK this summer. The team are seeking further global licensing opportunities for the AR experiences.
Leading indoor soft play manufacturer Soft Brick has produced a range of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Timmy Time themed soft play equipment, including a ‘Techno Trousers’ photo op to celebrate the upcoming 30th anniversary of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers.
